sandy, as always I thank you for your kind words about my poem and a format to post on. I love that I can work on poems ahead of time with the list you gave us.
Hi anthony. So glad you dropped by to read my work. I too felt a shiver when thinking about what I could say about seeds. Summer is played out so one must move on the wonderful fall poems. I am very glad that you liked my poem.
Oh, it's so nice to visit here again... I always loved your writing. This haiku really speaks to me- although we rarely see frost down here in S. FL, your first line brought back all kinds of memories from growing up in the north. I loved the darkness of this, my friend. Well done.

this is very nice how you brought it all together!
This makes me think of mid-November and Carl Sandburg. I love it. Thanks.
Ah, that sent a slight shiver through me, but very true.
Indeed, I'm seeing the first signs of autumn where I am.
Excellently done.
cold, cold earth indeed. a menacing frost captured in these lines. :)
That is what winter feels like for sure.
..the mother earth_without her_nothing-just nothing..ur poem has a lot to tell..many thanks for this post..
Oh we need to be ready. I like the image of winter as a cat. I've never seen it that way but I get it!
Much thanks art and poetry for reading my poem. I was very late posting it and I am glad for your kind comments. It was a good prompt.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and I do hope you come by again.I love your blog and your poems. I can picture the seed under the cold and frozen soil.
Your poem feel so light until the last line and then it hits home with the repetition of "cold". Nice.
I hear the silence in this and am moved by the cold... lovely haiku!
Stunning.
