Desk Of......Dreams

plain and rough
my
desk of dreams
where
words are colors
magic images crisp clean
thoughts
caught in evenings glory
the
sweet primrose blooms
and...I
watching from my simple space
the
dainty damselflies drift
lightly
on a cool night breeze
heal
my hollow heart that aches
a
soul worn heavy with sorrows time
then
I can dream silver dreams
that
soar...high above...setting me free

What an amazing way of using words! You capture the whole feel to the poem with a certain flare I don't think I've seen used for a long time. Well done!

I love some of the lines in this poem.

"...damselflies drift
lightly
on a cool night breeze..."

The mixture of heavy sorrow with light, dainty, dreams that soar. Wonderful use of words.

I love your line "words are colours." You paint a portrait with your words.

Just lovely.
