As always Sandy, I thank you for your wonderful site(even if I can't add OSI picture to my side bar- just too stupid.lol) and for your very kind comment toujours, melanie-bd
The image of a hungry earth lingers. I think of baby birds, waiting in a nest for mum to return with some food. And those ever open mouths! Plus squawks!

I like the image of life repeating. And of rain feeding the earth's children. This makes my day. Thanks.

Like Sandy, I like the idea of the rain feeding earth's children and I also particularly like "heirs to this new seed." Lovely.
I love all three of them. They gave me such a sense of calm. Thank you.
Beautiful imagery! "Feed your children." Priceless line to sum up spring's purpose.
Melanie, those are beautiful. Show each aspect of wakening earth!

Much thanks for reading my poem, geraldine. I still have a long way to go with capturing the real beauty of a haiku.

I like how this also fits in the circle theme of last week.
beautiful images of spring....
Your words are like paint, painting a beautiful image.
I love the idea of cycles and circles in this (combining both themes!). It is beautiful.
I love the idea of the earth hungry yet waiting to feed the children. Really nice.
Beautifully rendered, and I agree that the cycles and circles are combined so artfully. Great work!
